About This Program

Though the UCCA exhibition "Art Post-Internet" limits its purview to artwork from Europe and the US, the post-internet is a global phenomenon. In China, the spread of the internet has transformed the way artists think about and create artwork. This panel of artists and curators will explore how work processes change with the universalization of global internet culture, and how post-internet art from China might take shape. Panelists include some of the best-known artists working in online media, web-based documentation, and digital reception.
