About This Program

UCCA Volunteer Recruitment

Number of Volunteers: 20

Responsibilities:

1. Lead public tours of UCCA exhibitions.

2. Respond to inquiries and assist with visitor surveys.

3. Provide support for public programs.

4. Administrative support, including database management and new media promotion.

5. Professional tasks, including translation, interpretation, photography, and more.

Hours:

Two shifts per week

Tuesday to Friday, 13:00-17:00

Saturday and Sunday, 10:00-17:00

Requirements

1. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Must demonstrate a strong interest in contemporary art and culture.

2. Dedicated and passionate, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

3. Able to follow volunteer guidelines and complete the center’s training program.

4. Able to volunteer for a minimum of two months. Priority will be given to long-term volunteers.

5. Basic oral and written English skills.

5. Work certification from the UCCA Public Programs Department after 200 volunteer hours.

6. Prizes based on the number of hours worked. Outstanding volunteers will receive a formal certificate of completion issued by the UCCA Public Programs Department.

7. The opportunity to meet UCCA Director Philip Tinari after one year of volunteering.

*The UCCA volunteer program is unpaid.
