To commemorate the 110th anniversary of the birth of Maurice Blanchot, UCCA invites scholars from several prominent universities in China to “An Encounter with Blanchot: Our Secret Comrade,” the first event of a series of public programs dedicated to the French writer, philosopher, and literary theorist. The conversation will focus on Blanchot and his friendship with Levinas, Bataille, Foucault and other thinkers of his time.
