ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

Start the year at Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (UCCA) with an exclusive members-only event. Enjoy a guided tour of our opening exhibition of 2013, ON | OFF: China’s Young Artists in Concept and Practice, with the curators, some of the featured artists, and UCCA Director, Philip Tinari on hand to unpack some of the stories behind the works. We’ll be celebrating the Year of the Snake with cocktails, canapés and sweet treats, and our Membership Team have put together some little gifts from UCCA just for you. Please join us!

ON | OFF occupies all UCCA exhibition spaces, and marks the most comprehensive survey to date of the generation of artists born in the wake of the Cultural Revolution and at the dawn of the China’s era of opening and reform. Unparalleled in scope and unprecedented in concept, the exhibition has already captured a lot of media attention, domestic and foreign.
