One of the many highlights of the UCCA Gala 2014 was the Benefit Auction. Works were donated by vanguard artists who had exhibited at UCCA in recent years and were featured in a preview and live auction during the Gala Dinner on 20 November 2014. With the support of our benefactors coming from a wide range of fields and backgrounds, the inaugural UCCA Benefit Auction (2013) raised a total of RMB 1.56 million. The landmark success of the UCCA Benefit Auction offers a new model for not-for-profit cultural institutions in China to expand their fundraising channels. The selection of works for the 2014 Benefit Auction were donated by twenty contemporary artists that had shows at UCCA.

Your Contribution

All proceeds from the Benefit Auction support the center’s annual calendar of exhibitions, public programs, and other not-for-profit events, and ensure the long-term development of one of China’s most dynamic contemporary  art institutions.
