“New Directions” was a series of project-based exhibitions by young artists from Greater China. The series offered a platform for artists to realize a first institutional solo exhibition and bilingual monograph. New Directions: Hao Jingban accompanied the exhibition of the same name, which showcased the artist’s adoption of the language and structure of documentary film to explore the fate of the general population in relation to social movements and the currents of history.
