Wang Mai “Dire Straits” Catalogue Launch and Round Table Discussion

2014.6.1
16:00-18:00

Conversation
Location:  UCCA Auditorium
Language:  In Chinese only

This event commemorates the publication of the catalogue of Wang Mai's 2012 UCCA exhibition “Dire Straits.” Included in the book are four classical poems written for the exhibition, the first time these poems will be published. An artist whose mixed media practice spans two decades, Wang’s UCCA installation employs raw materials and ready-mades to create an immersive space that blends history, memory, and myth.

The round table discussion convenes artists and museum professionals to discuss mixed media practice in contemporary art.
