ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

Generally we are the loyal audience at TV or by phonograph ,some lucky ones may learn music, but enjoy the orchestra as one of the symphony members is a rare chance. In order to make the musician dream come ture for all, the British Philharmonic Orchestra organized the first band exhibition "Re-rite" in London at 2009 . This is a groundbreaking ,audience exposure into the experience through multimedia audio-visual equipment, you can choose the band's musical instruments, sound departments, location even include the command.

In the exihibition there are several big screens on four direction walls , playing the British Philharmonic Orchestra composer Stravinsky "Rite of Spring" Movie in circulation .It's not a simple documentary film, but an interesting and interactive one. You can enjoy this wonderful movie and‘sit’ in the horn section, even have a go at conducting. There also has a sound control room ,the audience will see, hear and regulate the detail in the orchestra.

This could be totally difference from normal music deform , it break up the barries between audience and band by being one of the band members.Audience can experience the classic music more closer in a whole new environment ,this way could stimulate children's creativity, develope adults' music potential, and add a brilliant on the art education.

In this event UK Now@UCCA, we invited the British Philharmonic Orchestra"Re-rite" members to share their music story, explore the atractivity of multimedia in art education.
