ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

Have you ever thought about volunteering while traveling?

Travelling aimlessly is definitely relaxing. But travelling while doing a volunteer job is like adding some depth to the whole journey.
Apart from resigning and travelling around the world or volunteering to teach in a remote place, you can choose a short-period of “volunteer travel” relating to ecology. For example, you could serve in a national park, bathe the horses in a stud farm, or clean the beach off Great Barrier Reef…Cheng Yuan, who worked in the American Hiking Society, will share his experience as a volunteer and volunteer organizer in the Grand Canyon, Alaska, and Yellowstone. Another approach is to work for competitions. Ziyu, the boss of Poetry Cafe, will share with us her volunteer experience in the Gobi Desert section of the 4 Deserts endurance race. There are also humanitarian aid volunteer alternatives, like community service in an African slum, an Indian temple, or women’s protection programs in a desert village in Pakistan.
We will invite three types of volunteer travelers to come share their experience: a national park volunteer, a competition volunteer and a humanitarian aid worker.
*Reservation required.
From Tuesday to Friday 11:00-18:00 please call +86 10 5780 0200 to book. Please note that you can only book 1 seat at a time.
