Location:  UCCA Salon

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

This week, Jianghua will introduce everyone to a mysterious friend. He lives in Beijing, but we rarely see him. He is the owl! There are many kinds of owl; some are white and fluffy, and some have long “ears.” They swoop through the air and are known for being wise. Do you know where do they live? Do you know how they hunt? After getting to know this new friend, Jianghua will guide you in converting a pile of seemingly useless stuff into a lovely owl.
Nature is a source of inspiration for artists. The colors change as the seasons come and go, and the animals whispering in the woods and the smell of the trees and the earth all stir our imaginations… The colors and shapes found in nature are the best materials for creating art! In the “Touching Nature” series, we will use resources from nature and recycled materials to create art works.
