ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

In this children’s program, National Academy of Chinese Theater Arts professor Ji Chaowill share the results of his summer at the Center for Chinese Ritual Studies in Tsinghua University. Ji will discuss how children used to celebrate Teacher’s Day and the many rituals that guided social conduct in ancient China.

UCCA Touching China Series: Zhi-xing Hall

This series gives children the opportunity to explore traditional Chinese culture. By looking at ancient Chinese culture, from classical poems to festival customs, participants can learn about the past and appreciate the art of life.
