What did wedding ceremonies look like in ancient China? Did the bride wear white? Did the groom wear a suit? What were the differences between Han weddings and those of other ethnic groups? Ji Chao and Gao Jing, advisor on rites for film, The Last Supper, will speak about traditional weddings in China.
In the UCCA Touching China series, the teacher will be introducing children to traditional Chinese culture through the exploration of poems and ancient festival customs, allowing them to deepen their understanding and also appreciate the art of life.
