The invention of the camera brought with it a new way for us to record our lives, as well as a new form of art. Video is able to capture stories happening in re time, but we also use a lot of time preparing beautiful scenes against which these stories can unfold. Would you like to learn these twin crafts of stage design and film directing? In our activity, you’ll join with ON | OFF artists to hunt for inspiration in the exhibition, and bring them together in an art project afterwards.
Every year, UCCA features many exhibitions that inspire and ignite the imagination. This is the first event in our new ‘artist-led series’, which will allow children to engage more deeply with our exhibitions and the work of artists on show.
