UCCA MAKERLAB: THE TRASH INTO TREASURE BAND

2013.6.12
13:30 - 17:00

Workshops
Location:  UCCA Workshop
Language:  Chinese and English

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

One person’s trash is another person’s treasure, or so they say. Some of the things you might have lying around the house – old skateboards, water buckets, nylon thread, bits of old leather – could be turned into musical instruments with a little help. With the addition of a pickup device, the options are endless. You could even combine your efforts with those of your lab mates and make a band!

Materials

Over 20 different kinds of material will be provided for the session, with participants also encouraged to bring suitable items in from home.

Notes:

This is a group activity, and participants will be divided into groups.

Children over 10 years old are welcome to join the workshop, but kids and teenagers under 16 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
