As a designer, Sun Wentao excels at designing functional items from an artistic perspective. The visual style of his works reflects a timeless, ethereal sensibility. In this lecture, Sun will lead the audience into the dream-like world of his design works.

Sun Wentao was born in 1975 in Heilongjiang province. He is a graduate of the Department of Sculpture, Academy of Arts & Design, Qinghua University. In his practice, he strives to find balance between art and design. Many of his design works evince a dream-like quality.
