UCCA Children’s Artist Workshop Fun with Collage

2013.8.3
10:00 - 11:30

Location:  UCCA Salon
Language:  In Chinese Only

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

For this workshop, UCCA has invited children’s literature authors Guo Xiaohan and Yang Silu to share their unique way of making illustrations, combining collage, clay, Photoshop, drawing, and other media. In their book Big Events, the authors use words and pictures to depict all the little things in their lives, things too small to be noticed by adults yet are magnified in the eyes of a child. In this activity, kids will use different materials to depict their own “big events.”

UCCA Children’s Artist Workshop

These workshops provide an opportunity for families to learn about contemporary art and for children to develop their artistic talents in the company of leading artists. Children’s workshops are organized in conjunction with UCCA exhibitions.
