ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

Which color might represent sky? Which color might represent the earth? Both regular and irregular combinations of lines and spots make beautiful artworks. Li Shurui - one of the “ON | OFF: China’s Young Artists in Concept and Practice” artists, will work with the attending children, helping them create their own art works with colored pens and rulers.

UCCA Children’s Art Workshops

UCCA is pleased to be able to provide an opportunity for families to learn about contemporary art and develop children’s talents in the company of leading artists. Children’s workshops are often organized in conjunction with UCCA exhibitions.

ABOUT OUR GUEST

Li Shurui was born in Chongqing, graduated from Sichuan Fine Art Institute, and now lives and works in Beijing. She has held solo exhibitions in South Korea, Hong Kong, and Spain.
