10:00 - 11:30

Location:  UCCA La Suite
Language:  Chinese only.

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

In stifling heat of the summer, we stay in air-conditioned rooms and almost forget how our ancestors escaped summer. Teacher Ji Chao will fan a breeze through the heat wave with the children. She will tell tales of the famous concubine, Yang, and also how they made “ice-cream” in ancient China. In the Zhi-xing Hall series, the teacher will enlighten the children with poems and customs highlighting details of traditional culture, in order to feel the artistry in life.
