Here Sachi Hamano adapts of Midori Osaki's famous novella. Born over a hundred years ago in 1896 in Tottori Prefecture, a place far removed from the capital city of Tokyo, Osaki's writings continue to draw comparisons with the contemporary. Crossing into the fantasy genre, the story takes notions of human love into deeper consideration, depicting something altogether unreal yet strongly based on a female perspective.
