Since its emergence in the 1970s, the definition of "digital art" remains a heated topic among art professionals and the general public alike. Nowadays, as technology increasingly pervades each corner of everyday life, where do the boundaries of digital art lie? What is its domain? Does “digital art” even really exist?
UCCA invites French digital artist Nicolas Rosette to discuss the unique existence of digital art. The talk will examine Rosette’s art projects; innovation in the arts, technology, and video games; and the relationship between art, technology, and society.
