MIGRANT SCHOOL STUDENTS' ART PROGRAM, RAINBOW JOURNEY: KIDS CORNER GRAFFITI

2012.6.12
14:00 - 15:30

Location:  UCCA Loft
Language:  English with Chinese Translation.

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

“Graffiti” is the most common form of expression when we first meet art in our childhood. More than an artistic creation, graffiti can be seen as the rhythm and strength that comes from our body when in the process of painting. It provides a chance to vent through body movements such as smearing, drawing waves and tapping. The wider the graffiti surface, the wilder the experiment will be.

In this “Rainbow Journey”, we have invited Ceet and Noe Two to offer fun graffiti tips to children and give them more chances to show their passion.

ABOUT OUR GUESTS

Ceet is an internationally recognized French graffiti and contemporary artist from Paris. He spent his early years painting graffiti in his home town, Toulouse, with his street crews, Truskool and Trumac. Since 2003, he’s been very active in China with diverse exhibitions, events and artistic performances. Advertising companies and lifestyle brands also call on his talent and he has been an art ambassador to global brands such as Adidas, Airbus, Ecko, Loewe, Moiselle, and Prada, securing his place on the international stage of contemporary artists to watch and follow.

Noe Two comes from Paris and is one of the first generation attendees of the French School: RAW (Real Authentik Writa), an underground group of graffiti artists whose talent was beyond exceptional and their members were meticulously trained and selected. Recognized since the late 80’s, Noe Two has become an integral figure within the French Graffiti scene.
His art incorporates graphic design, multimedia and 3D modeling. He is most known for pushing graffiti into the world of realism and impressionism. These days, Noe Two has embraced a more abstract world, leaving the realistic, impressionistic and emotional expressions behind by incorporating bold shapes, colors, curves and set compositions into his pieces. Internationally renowned, Noe Two has been an avid participant and sought after artist for projects, events, auctions and exhibitions around the world for the past two decades. He has been seen educating the world with his collections in the USA, Europe and Asia.
