During the “Hiroshi Sugimoto: Time Machine” exhibition, the Public Practice Department of UCCA Center for Contemporary Art will curate and organize a series of public practice programs centering around the art, history, and social and cultural context of Sugimoto’s practice. The programs encompass a variety of activities, including an opening conversation, special guided tours, Kōdō workshops, and cinema arts on Noh theater. These programs will extend from the exhibition, further guide the audience into the art world of Hiroshi Sugimoto, and deepen the understanding of his creative concepts fusing traditional and contemporary practices of art.
