EXPLORING OUR EXHIBITIONS: LET US BE INK FLORISTS

2012.5.12
14:00 - 15:30

Location:  UCCA Café
Language:  Chinese with English translation.

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

A tableau vivant of live plants painted in black Chinese ink will adorn the Nave. Referencing the legendary Hanging Garden of Babylon, Ma’s installation continues her exploration of the contemporary possibilities of China’s most “traditional” medium. In this event of “Exploring Our Exhibitions”, art education specialists Xiong Lei and Wang Jian will lead children to make their own garden of Chinese ink under the “Hanging Garden in Ink”.

"Exploring Our Exhibitions" Series would like to help children acquire a greater appreciation for contemporary art and increase their artistic and aesthetic awareness. Join us in observing life from a different perspective and express your feelings through art.
