Saints, poets, reformers, mystic masters... The mystic literature in 16th-century Spain has been known as the late-maturing achievement of the Golden Age and enjoys a long list of prestigious names, among which St. John of the Cross is one of the most representative figures.The lecture will lead us alongside a special journey to approch a unique man and a unique era.

ABOUT OUR GUEST

Fan Ye, born in 1970’s, doctor of Spanish. At the moment, he works for the department of Spanish and Portuguese of Peking University. His has various translated Spanish works such as “Todos los fuegos el fuego (All Fires the Fire)”.
