ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

History is cold. People living in moments in history undergo change in the course of history and record them in their own way. As an illustrious modern Chinese poet, Mudan developed a kind of novel lyric style to depict the chaos caused by war and pain and anguish inside a modern scholar. In this program, Associate Professor Jiang Tao from the Chinese Language and Literature Department of Peking University will interpret the history and literature in Mudan's works.
