In this edition of UCCA’s Classic Reading Series, Peking University Professor Duan Yinghong presents a survey of the works of Marguerite Yourcenar (1903-1987), the Belgian-born French novelist and essayist. Yourcenar was the winner of the Erasmus Prize, the Prix Femina and the first woman elected to the Academie Francaise (in 1980).
