ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

Do artists have anything to do with design? In July, Shi Guowei will elaborate on the relationship between “posing guide” in photography and “design” by looking at a special hand-coloring technique and western classical paintings to reveal some interesting stories of an artist’s creative process.

ABOUT OUR GUEST

Shi Guowei obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Photography from Department of Visual Communication at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, and a Master’s Degree in Design from the Photography College of Fachhochschule, Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Germany. At present, Shi is a freelance artist.
