ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

What is the difference between a novel written by a professional writer, and one by an architect? On May 27th, Liang Fan will take his two published books to UCCA. He will talk about his novels and his design of zoos, buildings, installations and songs in those books. Writing and architecture are very different professions, whilst writing can be full of imagination architecture tends to value rational logic more. However, the core value of both professions is that their creations are the products of imagination. By combining writing and architect design, people may build a surreal world in a multi-dimensional way. If one does not have an opportunity to build a real house, he can build it in a book. The topic of our lecture is about a new type of books —— the new design novel.
