Fan Wu is an independent designer originally from China. He received B.F.A.in graphic design from Central Academy of Fine Arts [CAFA] of Beijing in 2005, and an M.F.A. in graphic design from Yale University School of Art, U.S. in 2008. He won Phelps Berdan Memorial Prize given for distinction in art inYale. The Thesis: 44 Things is a part of collection of Yale Sterling Memorial Library. As a professional graphic designer, Mr. Wu focus on critical thinking and methodical research for contemporary visual design and works on cutting-edge projects in virtually all graphic media: print [2D], environmental design& installations [3D], time basis graphics[4D]. Important exhibition included: Official “Year of China in Italy" Group show: China New Design in Milan & Turin 2011, 25th International Biennial of Graphic Design Brno, 2012 Czech Republic. Fan Wu also worked as a researcher, designer, teacher at Olympics Art and Design Center, for the Icograda World Design Congress 2009 Beijing, Greengaged-China, Open Studio: Next City = Nature and CAFA. He lecture at The China Central Academy of Fine Arts School of Design, Beijing.
