In Bravehearts we follow four politically involved youths between the summer of 2009 and the fall of 2011. With the courage to say what they will and a hope to change the world for the better, the group encounters a tragedy that changes the trajectory of their lives forever. On July 21, Johanne boards the ferry to the AUF summer camp on the island of Utøya. The film crew stays with her until the 22nd before returning to Oslo to meet Sana.
