Barcelona has a strong tradition in the design arena. Outstanding historic artists such as Gaudí, Miró, and contemporary designers as Mariscal and Claret Serrahima have made Barcelona stand out as one of the most creative cities of the world. More recently, successful events such as the Barcelona Design Week, the OFFF festival or the FAD awards as well the new creation of The Design Hub of Barcelona (the new Design Museum of the city) have fostered the perfect environment for the blossoming of a cluster of small and extremely clever young design studios. Today we are presenting a selection of these studios that represent a new generation that is taking over the stage of the design in our city.
