ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

2010 Turner Prize winner Susan Philipsz won the Turner Prize for the sound installation, Lowlands.
Now she will come to Beijing and host a talk at UCCA to share with audiences her creative process and recent projects.
Her exhibition "It Means Nothing To Me" will be presented at the Mizuma & One Gallery in Beijing.

ABOUT OUR GUEST

Susan Philipsz was born in 1965, in Glasgow, Scotland, and lives in Berlin. Her recent solo shows have included Seven Tears, Ludwig Forum, Aachen (2011), We Shall Be All, Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago (2011), Surround Me, Artangel London (2010) and You Are Not Alone, Modern Art Oxford (2009).

She has also participated in various group exhibitions at: The Solomon R.Guggenheim Museum, New York (2010), the Biennale of Sydney (2008), Skulptur Projekte Münster (2007), and the Tate Triennial, London (2003).
