In the eyes of the older generations, 798 represents the backbone of industrialized production with old factories and red slogans on the walls. But since then, the factories of 798 have transformed to become a home to contemporary art. The fusion of the old and the contemporary with the Bauhaus style architecture hosting international galleries and art centers, 798 attracts great numbers of tourists from home and abroad. At the end of this summer, UCCA Members Program will take you on a tour of three of 798’s most well-established galleries, to experience the most avant of contemporary art in China.
