A Soul In Bondage: Year-End Party

With Christmas falling on a Friday, UCCA and coart park have decided to hold a year-end celebration featuring musical guests LURE and X.L.F, with visual design by Interactive media artist VJxxx. The last performance in LURE's autumn tour "A Soul In Bondage," the night samples a selection of hits from their 18-year history. The event also marks the second collaboration between UCCA and COART after the Shu He Art Exhibition "Ju Qi" in 2012. Make youthful rebellion a part of your holiday tradition this year, and join the party.

Musical Guests
LURE
One of the most influential rock bands in China, LURE formed in Beijing in 1997. Their diverse rhythms, spread out over six albums, vary from funk to punk. Their current line-up features Lei Lin (lead singer), Wang Peng (guitar), Zhang Yunfeng, Li Jing (bass guitar), and Guo Yang (drums).
Reforming in 2010, the band has recently released Retrograde Kingdom (2012) and Soul in Bondage (2015).
